Financial Support Analyst required immediately
My client a leading company based in Auckland is looking for a Financial Support Analyst to join their team on an initial 3 month contract basis which is likely to be extended. In the past few months several operating cost transactions have been miscoded between IS cost centres causing incorrect financial reporting for my client and so the Financial analyst will be responsible for reviewing this.
Responsibilities include:
- Review transactions posted to the cost centres, establish miscoded transactions and prepare journal entries to correct various errors.
- Undertake a review of the financial process and establish the cause of miscoded transactions.
- Work with the management team to recommend process improvement to prevent future reoccurrence of key issues.
The ideal candidate will have good Accounting background/experience, financial analysis and SAP reporting/enquiry experience.
